This policy explains what INTERNOLD NETWORKS ("we") collects when you use our IT certification exam preparation platform, why, who else handles it, and what you can ask us to do. We keep it short because we collect only what the service needs.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and name, and the sign-in method you choose (email and password, or a social sign-in).
- Your learning activity: lessons you opened or finished, practice quiz attempts and answers, flashcard reviews, labs you marked done, and your time zone (so "due today" is right for you).
- What you write: your private notes, items you flag for review, and feedback you send us.
- Payment records: what you bought, the amount, the date and the payment reference. Your card number is typed on our payment provider's own page; we never see it and never store it.
- Security records: a log of sensitive actions (such as a role change or a refund), kept so we can investigate misuse.
Why we use it
- To give you the course you signed up for and remember your progress.
- To take payment, open and end your access, and handle refunds.
- To keep the service secure and to answer your questions and feedback.
- To improve the courses, for example by finding questions that are unclear.
We do not sell your data, we do not show advertising, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers. If we start sending marketing messages, we will ask for your consent first and you will be able to opt out at any time.
Who handles it for us
We use these services to run the platform. Each receives only what it needs for its job:
- Sign-in provider: sign-in and account security (your email, name and session).
- Social sign-in provider: only if you choose to sign in that way.
- Payment provider: card payments and refunds (your email and the payment).
- Database host: where your account, progress and notes are stored.
- File storage provider: private storage of course files such as lab files and pictures.
- Website host: hosting of the website.
These providers may process data in other countries. We do not share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and progress while your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account we remove your personal details, notes and learning activity. We keep payment and security records for as long as the law or a dispute requires.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and data. Write to support@internold.com from the email address of your account and we will answer within 30 days.
Security
Access to your data is checked on our servers on every request, data is sent encrypted, and course files are private. No online service can promise perfect security; if a breach affects your data we will tell you.
Children
The service is for people aged 16 and over. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change affects what data we collect, how we use it or who receives it, we will post a notice on the site before it applies.
